Clennell Hall is within the Northumberland National Park, which is currently campaigning to have the area designated as an official 'Dark Sky Area'.  If successful, it will be the biggest in Europe and. together with Kielder, the third largest in the world.

The hall commands wonderful views of the night sky from nearby locations free from light pollution and is only 40 minutes away from the Kielder Obseratory.

National Cycle Network Route 68, the Pennine Cycleway, runs from Derby to Berwick upon Tweed, passing by Clennell Hall. We have secure storage for bikes.
